Long Paddock

Satellite Imagery

This page allows you to obtain ground cover and foliage projective cover (FPC) products which are developed from Landsat imagery. An email will be sent to you with the location for these files. The satellite imagery is currently only available for locations in Queensland.

Note: While all care has been taken to ensure accuracy, no warranty is given in relation to the data (including accuracy, reliability, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose). In all cases, product accuracy remains limited by the spatial resolution of the input data.
Please see our disclaimer before using the products on these pages.

Selecting a product

What is your location?

You can choose your location by either the Title Reference (e.g. 12345678), Lot on Plan (e.g. Lot 3 and Plan MZ594 is 3MZ594), or by latitude and longitude (note: this method may find neighbouring Lots on Plan). Only Lots on Plan greater than or equal to 100ha are available.

You can also request the report for multiple Lots on Plan by entering each Lot on Plan into the field provided and separate them by commas, (e.g. 3MZ594, 1RP2345, 2SP6789). Lots on Plan must have adjoining boundaries for the image to generate.

If the Title Reference or Lot on Plan are unknown, use Geoscience Australia place name search to search for the likely latitude and longitude of your Lot on Plan.
