Request a Ground Cover Report

This page allows you to generate two Ground Cover Reports for a specified location in Queensland.

The Single Year Ground Cover report shows a ground cover threshold map generated from satellite imagery. The map displayed is a single date image from the dry season in the year selected and highlights areas where ground cover is below a user specified threshold.

The Minimum Ground Cover Report shows a map which indicates the lowest ground cover for each satellite pixel in the selected area since the early 1980s.

Note: Whilst all care has been taken to ensure accuracy, no warranty is given in relation to the data (including accuracy, reliability, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose). In all cases, product accuracy remains limited by the spatial resolution of the input data.
