The Queensland Government provides climate change projections data for 2030 and 2050 in ‘ready-to-use’ formats suitable for input to biophysical models such as GRASP and APSIM that will better prepare Queensland agriculture for the future impact of a changing and variable climate.
The data are free and easily accessible through Queensland Government’s Consistent Climate Scenarios portal. Follow the portal to register an account for data access. Once we have returned your registration details, you can start requesting data.
More than a million data files have been provided through the Consistent Climate Scenarios portal since 2011.
Funding for the project was derived from a number of Federal and Queensland Government agencies, including the CSIRO, the Queensland Department of Environment and Heritage Protection, the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, and the Department of Environment and Science (DES).
