High Resolution Climate Change Projections

The Queensland Government have produced high-resolution climate scenario data critical to informing adaptation strategies will better prepare Queensland for the impacts of a changing climate. High resolution modelling of Queensland’s climate at a 10km grid has been undertaken on the Queensland Government’s high performance computing facility to resolve high impact micro-scale weather phenomena including tropical cyclones and severe storms. The dataset is available from the TERN portal

The research was funded by the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection to support the implementation of the new Queensland Climate Adaptation Strategy (Q-CAS)
